Hurling Development Squads
This weekend sees the concluding round of development squad games take place for hurling squads. Our U16s travel to Kilkenny Centre of Excellence in Dunmore to take part in the shield competition where they will face Kilkenny in a semi final at 11:00. They will then compete in the final or 3rd place play off at 12:45 against either Meath or Limerick.
The U15 squad are in Borrisoleigh in Tipperary where they will also face opponents from Kilkenny at 11:00. Depending on the result in that, they will face a final or 3rd place play off at 2:00 against either Limerick or Galway.
Two U14 squads will be in action on Saturday also, with one team in Raharney and the other in Portlaoise. The team in Raharney will play Meath in a semi final at 11:00 with a final or 3rd place play off to follow at 12:30 against either Galway or Wicklow. The team in Portlaoise will games against Laois (10:30) and Meath (12:30) in a three-team group, with the top two teams playing a final at 1:30.
