Our league finals have come to an end after 7 thrilling finals in TEG Cusack Park.
Division 1 was snapped up by Mullingar Shamrocks in Extra Time, overcoming Garrycastle on a scoreline of M.S 2-31 to GC 3-20.
Division 2 was won by Tyrrellspass in a dying moments come back winng 2-14 to Shandonaghs 0-15
Division 3 saw St.Marys Rochfortbridge overcome Maryland on a scoreline of 2-26 and Maryland’s 3-13.
Division 4 which began our week of League Finals saw St.Joseph’s in ET claim the title over Caulry, 3-16 to Caulry’s 3-18.
Division 5 saw Milltownpass flourish over Kilbeggan Shamrocks on a scoreline of 2-25 to 1-11.
Division 6 was claimed by Killucan where they ranked up 2-21 against a strong Delvin side who scored 4-09.
And finally, Division 7 was on Friday last where Tang proved too strong for Loughnavally scoring 6-18 to the Valley’s 0-08.
All in all, an enjoyable week of finals has concluded where scoring was plentiful in each and every game. Well done to our winners but also to every team involved as they are now promoted for 2027.
