The Tidy-town men of Tyrrellspass claimed the Division 2 title after a late comeback on Friday evening. The game looked like Shandonagh were going to be heading home with silverware, but Enda Monaghan’s side showed great fight and determination to claim victory.
Shandonagh lead for the entire game until Tyrrellspass equalised on the 56th minute. Brian Kavanagh was ensuring his side stayed ahead but it was substitute Kieran Geraghty that brought his side back into it with 1-01 to draw level.
The game finished Shandonagh 0-15 Tyrrellspass 2-14. Congratulations to Tyrrellspass.
