After a rescheduling due to the weather, our Minor Footballers got their campaign underway in Allen Park, Newtownforbes last Thursday. On a misty wet evening, Mick Dillon’s men were battling all the elements as they took to the field.
Westmeath held a narrow three point interval lead. Westmeath dominated the second half with goals from Finn Brennan, Dean Kelly and Moate All White’s Daragh Murray proving to be the winning of the game!
Next up is Dublin in Kinnegad on Tuesday, March 3rd, before concluding their Group 2 fixtures against Offaly on Tuesday, April 14.
