Bringing the Hogan Cup to Mullingar for the first time ever is an amazing achievement. Having all panel members, members of our clubs in Westmeath is a credit to our clubs.
We want to thank the clubs in our county for their grassroots training and for giving these young men the foundation to excel at the biggest stage of Schools Football. Also, to congratulate manager Dean McNicholas, former Westmeath footballer for his role in the coaching and guidance of this exceptional team.
Westmeath Chairman spoke at the homecoming celebrations and noted how proud we are as a county of these men and how the future is bright for Westmeath GAA!
