Last weekend saw our first adult finals of the year, with our All-County Football League deciders taking place at TEG Cusack Park.
Our football league finals weekend began on Friday night with The Downs earning a 7 point victory over Coralstown-Kinnegad in Division 4.
On Saturday evening, Castletown/Finea/Coole/Whitehall had a 7 point win over Ballinagore in Division 5 while St Loman’s, Mullingar got their 1st trophy of the weekend by beating Killucan by 3 points in Division 3.
On Sunday, Garrycastle ran out 4 point winners over Caulry in Division 2 after an exciting game before St Loman’s, Mullingar completed a league final double as an amazing goal from Fola Ayorinde helped his side to edge past Coralstown-Kinnegad by 3 points in Division 1.
