Killian Doyle helped his side claim two points on the Allianz Hurling League Table following scoring 11 for us in TEG Cusack Park on Sunday.
Kevin O’Brien’s men started strong and led by 5 at half time; Westmeath 0-15 to Meath 0-10. In a second half full of battles and exchanging scores, Westmeath showed fantastic grit and determination to finish out the game strong and secure two points for the league table. We remain unbeaten in the league and hope to continue our winning streak in London in 2 weeks time.
