Westmeath GAA are actively seeking new referees for 2026 season.
Full training will be provided and we encourage every club to nominate at least 1 referee for 2026.
Without referees our games simply cannot go ahead.

What qualities are required to become a GAA Referee?
- Good knowledge of the playing rules
- Be physically and mentally fit
- Have the abilityto remain calm
- Have the moral courage to take decisions which are correct
