At last night’s county committee meeting the following four person committee was appointed to search for a replacement for Dessie Dolan
Chairman Frank Mescall
Secretary Brendan Shaw
Football Board Chairman Mick Mannion
With the fourth member being previous Westmeath Manager Jack Cooney.
The committee now begin their search for a new Westmeath Senior Football Manager.
Frank also wished to thank Dessie for his commitment to Westmeath Football over his tenure and previous role with Jack Cooney. He told the meeting that Dessie had stepped down due to the commitment required and he wished him the very best of luck going forward.
