Westmeath Scór competitors enjoyed great success at the recent Leinster Scór finals held in the National Opera House Wexford on Sunday 14 January with two of the seven Leinster Titles on offer coming to the Lake county Competitors.
The successful acts were Na Dunta in both the Leiriu and Rince Seit competitions and their representatives will go forward to the All Ireland Final in Sligo on Saturday 17 February.
Following the final, Westmeath will also be represented by Jemma Seery (Ballinagore)in the Amhranaiocht Aonair competition as the winner from Wexford is unable to compete at the All Ireland Final. Ballinagore will also represent the County in the Table Quiz Final which is also on the same day.
Scór Sinsir:
Entries are sought from clubs for Scór Sinsir which commence on Friday 9th and 10th February with both semi finals being held in Ballymore Community Centre.
The county final is set for Saturday 24 February in The Downs GAA centre with the County Table Quiz Final on Thursday 22nd February (Venue TBC)
